The brush picks up enough powder for a controlled pass. I usually build it rather than starting heavy. It picks up a moderate amount of powder, so I can build the depth in two light passes instead of starting too dark.
It works for a light powder nose contour when I use only the tip and a small amount of product. The angled shape makes it easier to keep the powder narrow and then soften the edge.
